The Gate range of Saddle Type Precision Surface Grinding Machines feature high precision grinding for many different types of application. There are over 4 basic models to choose from ranging from 250 x 500mm working surface to 1000 x 400mm. Machines are offered in Basic, Electronic and Electronic Plus configurations making them suitable for toolrooms and production grinding environments alike.  The Basic and Electronic versions are particularly suited to educational workshops. Saddle Type

Basic:

Machine equipped with power rise and fall to the wheelhead.

Electronic:

The machine is fitted with a computerised programmable Automatic Downfeed. Rough feeds and fine feeds can be programmed with up to 10 spark-outs to complete the cycle. Rough feeds: 0.001-0.999mm programmable up to 999 passes. Fine Feeds: 0.001-0.099mm programmable up to 99 passes. The machine automatically stops at the end of the grinding cycle.

Electronic Plus:

The same features as the Electronic version plus; Automatic wheel dressing and compensation.
